Now I know that I'm not the only one out there with a serious Starbucks addiction, I mean come on! It's Starbucks! But how many of you drink it without reaping the awesome benefits of a Starbucks card? I know at least one of you raised you hand and I want to fix that and help you get the discounts and free Starbucks you deserve!

Easiest way to sign up for the Starbucks rewards program is to go to your local Starbucks and grab a gift card, or if you get one as a gift that's even better. Load that sucker up with however much you'd like (I usually just accept the inevitable and load $20.00). Once you get home, or you can do this from your iPhone, go to the Starbucks website or download the app (which is awesome). Register your card and you're ready to start being caffeinated AND awesome! If you have an iPhone or other mobile device that supports the app you don't need to save your card because it is now loaded and ready to use in your app, if not make sure that card stays in a safe place because that is now your card on the path towards free Starbucks!

Now how do you obtain these amazing free drinks you ask? Simple! Use you card whenever you purchase a drink or food at Starbucks and you get a star. When you first sign up for the program you are only 5 stars away from reaching Green Level. Green Level entitles you to free refills in Starbucks on tea and brewed coffee! Perfect for the avid Starbucks chiller who either enjoys hanging out and reading or doing you homework/studying. Within one year of registering your card if you obtain 30 stars (which is super easy to do am I right?) you are at the mythical GOLD level. You get an awesome personalized gold Starbucks card, because who doesn't want a personalized gold Starbucks card, and even more benefits! Now in addition to the free refills you get a free drink for every 12 stars you earn, and you get emailed offers and coupons that can come in handy. And did I mention that they send you a free drink coupon on your birthday? Because they do!

And if you continue to receive Starbucks gift cards as gifts because you have awesome friends/family that love you, you can load that money right onto you main Starbucks card. You can do it from either your app or your computer.
